How to Access Databases from Off-Campus

  1.  All students should obtain a Widener University ID from the Campus1Card Office in the Enrollment Services Center in Lipka Hall. The barcode on the back of the ID is needed to access the library's databases from off-campus.  (Students enrolled ONLY in distance education programs can complete the Request for a Barcode Form to gain off-campus access to the library's databases.)
  2. Go to the Databases Listed by Title page and click on the name of the database you would like to search.
  3. Enter your name and your barcode number (the full 14-digit number on the back of the ID).

If you have any questions or problems, please call the Circulation Supervisor at (610) 499-4068.

Note for AOL Users:
If you have AOL you must access the library's databases through another web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape. If you do not already have one of these web browsers on your computer you can download them for free from either the Internet Explorer Website or the Firefox Website.
